JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Filipino Bookkeeper and Virtual Assistant to join our team, supporting a dynamic property development and construction business in Ottawa, Canada. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in managing a variety of tasks, from bookkeeping to administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:

Perform bank statement reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
Prepare and submit HST reports accurately and on time.
Issue invoices, track accounts receivable and accounts payable for multiple properties.

Administrative Assistance:

Manage calendars, emails, and scheduling.
Perform data entry, document preparation, and file organization.
Assist with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow.


Required Skills and Proficiency:
Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Experienced QuickBooks Desktop user, Canadian Taxes
Knowledgeable in SEO and data analytics.


Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
Additional Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Personal computer or laptop with necessary software.
Availability during Canadian business hours.
Experience in the property development or construction industry is a plus.
