About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to join our growing team and lead content strategy and execution across a black female executive's personal brand and her kids' social media accounts. This role is perfect for someone who understands the digital space for moms, family life, entrepreneurship, and kid-centric content—and who can bring fresh, engaging ideas to life through sharp video editing and smart storytelling.
Who You Are:
A highly creative and organized social media pro
Deeply knowledgeable about Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
Passionate about content that resonates with moms, entrepreneurs, and lifestyle-focused audiences
A natural storyteller with strong short-form video editing skills
Capable of managing multiple accounts and content calendars seamlessly

Up to date with trends, audio, memes, and formats that perform well
Key Responsibilities:
Strategize, plan, and post content across multiple platforms for Vanessa Ford and her kids
Edit and repurpose video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) in a timely and trend-aware manner
Create monthly content calendars and coordinate shoots based on upcoming themes, travel, collaborations, and life moments
Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to grow reach, engagement, and followers
Stay on top of platform updates, trends, and best practices
Coordinate with photographers, designers, and any external collaborators as needed
Help shape and maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
Manage community engagement: responding to comments, DMs, and building a warm, authentic online presence
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts (please include portfolio or links)
Strong experience in video editing for social (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, InShot, etc.)
Deep understanding of content trends for moms, families, and women entrepreneurs
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Excellent English communication and organizational skills
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working with kid influencers or family/lifestyle creators
Graphic design or photography skills
Knowledge of influencer marketing and brand partnerships
