Java Developer

Responsibilities:
- Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and presenting these for architectural review
- Perform software development under minimal supervision
- Develop and design dynamic web pages
- Handle release management and software deployment
- Support bug fixing and apply feature enhancements
- Learn and apply new technologies needed by the growing application


Job Requirements:
- Experience in J2EE frameworks such as Spring MVC. STRUTS, etc.
- Knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture, REST API and Web Services
- Web design technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and JQuery
- Database Management Systems such as SQL, Postgres, PL/SQL
- Knowledge in JOOQ, JPA, Hibernate and the like
- Experience working with VOIP software or other communications technologies such as Asterisk, SIP, WebRTC, etc.
- Experience with Agile development is a plus
- Team player, and is able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willing to work in a startup environment
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
