Credit Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Credit Repair Specialist to join our team and help clients achieve financial freedom by improving their credit profiles. You will use advanced strategies such as Metro 2 compliance, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) provisions, and secondary data furnisher freezes to remove inaccuracies and negative items from credit reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispute collections, charge-offs, late payments, and inaccuracies on closed accounts.

File complaints with the CFPB and BBB, leveraging the FCRA and other consumer laws to challenge inaccuracies.

Utilize Metro 2 compliance techniques to target inaccuracies on credit reports.

Implement freezing of secondary data furnishers such as LexisNexis, SageStream, and Innovis to protect client information and limit data sharing.

Monitor client progress using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or CRM platforms.

Maintain detailed documentation of dispute actions, freezing requests, and outcomes.

Regularly communicate with us, providing updates on behalf of client.


Requirements:

Proven experience in credit repair (minimum 1 year preferred).

Familiarity with Metro 2 compliance, CFPB processes, FCRA provisions, and freezing secondary data furnishers.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Confidential handling of sensitive client information.

Reliable internet connection and home office setup.
