The Patient Advocate plays a crucial role in supporting patients through their healthcare journey at AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center. This role requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, and proficiency with digital tools to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact, guiding patients through healthcare processes, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries.
Use technology efficiently, managing patient interactions through digital platforms and electronic records.
Provide compassionate support, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring patients feel informed and cared for.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records, track patient progress, and facilitate communication among healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English with strong conversational abilities.
Comfortable using various digital platforms and healthcare management software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work empathetically and effectively with patients in a healthcare setting.
Healthcare background, nurses, or nursing graduates—even without prior experience—are preferable.
