Intermediate Software Engineer - Full-time - Telecommute

We are a small team, but we have the largest remote eyecare platform in the world - over ten thousand patient encounters take place every year on our platform. Telemedicine allows eye doctors (ophthalmologists and optometrists), to screen, diagnose, and treat patients remotely using cloud-based software. In addition, we are also working towards developing tools to assist physicians in making actual diagnosis and treatment plans, such as image management systems, optical recognition, patient care algorithms, and image analysis - the earliest forms of artificial intelligence in patient care. Responsibilities:
-Full-stack architecture, design, review, implementation, testing, bug fixing of healthtech software.
-Join our team of 3 Canadian senior developers and 1 Canadian junior developer, on an agile scrum-based team.
-Report directly to the Founder and Executive team, as well interact with physician users of the platform
-Must be willing to adapt to changing responsibilities

Qualifications/skills required:
-Required: Minimum THREE years FULL-TIME experience as a software developer
-Required: High speed internet at home
-Required: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
-Required: Interest in working from home, self-motivated
-Asset: Experience / enthusiasm to learn python/django, CSS, html, javascript
