JOB OVERVIEW

We are a company engaged in Travel and Tourism industry. We are rapidly growing and looking for the right candidate who can keep up with the pace of the company. Our accounting person is responsible for timely invoicing our clients, maintain end to end follow up to make sure all accounts are current, so that the cash flow is managed well. We are also responsible towards all our payments to our vendors and the accounting manager will ensure the billing and timely payments of invoices. Having excellent written communication skills is also crucial. You will be checking the accuracy of large amount of data processed daily, so you will need to be proficient using excel.
We are looking for an individual who can work with our Sales and Marketing team to resolve any issues that may come during the monthly accounting cycle. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, reliable, and personable and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
• Timely and accurate invoicing of our clients, follow up to make sure that all accounts are current and manage cash flow.
• Billing and timely payments of our vendors.
• Resolve issues relating to billing/invoicing with the clients/vendors, work closely with the marketing/sales team.
• Payroll: Processing of bimonthly payroll.
• Recording of credit card transactions and credit card reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements each month
• Communicate with government agencies on as needed basis, handle some business administration duties as and when needed.
• Skills/Requirements
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• QuickBooks experience required
• An associates/ bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Understanding BIR and accounting procedures and policies
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to crunch large amount of data.
• You must be self-driven, have ability to multitask and plan and complete your own tasks.
