Job Title: YouTube Thumbnail Designer
Salary: $600 - $900 USD/month, depending on skills and experience
Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time)
Vacation: 10 paid vacation days per year + 10 local holiday days
Location: 100% remote


I’m looking for an experienced YouTube thumbnail designer who can design high-performing thumbnails for my educational YouTube videos. I’m a full-time YouTuber, so this is a long-term role for someone who wants consistent, full-time work as I grow the channel.

If you design using Canva or similar apps, this is NOT the job for you. I need someone with deep PhotoShop experience.

Here’s what you should be an expert at:
- Designing highly engaging thumbnails for YouTube
- Adobe Photoshop
- Deep understanding of what makes people click (emotion, intrigue, clarity, contrast, psychology)
- Recreating thumbnail styles found on other channels
- Selecting bold fonts, vibrant colors, and strong composition
- Staying up-to-date on thumbnail trends
- Excellent spoken & written English

Strong preference will be given to candidates who deeply understand YouTube psychology and can create thumbnail concepts as well as design the thumbnails.

Occasionally this role will involve doing other small design tasks, but the majority of the work will be designing thumbnails.
