Project Manager Wanted – Full Time

We are a design + marketing firm looking for a talented project manager to help us out on a full-time basis. The position involves working on a couple of newspapers. It includes communicating with the publishing team and the newspaper designer to make sure that everything is done properly and looks nice. It also involves reviewing the paper for accuracy and correcting mistakes, placing articles and doing whatever it takes to ensure a beautiful paper which is error free. We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications:

• A good eye for design – doesn’t have to be a designer but must know what looks good and what doesn’t and have a strong sense of style.
• Strong attention to detail
• Must speak & write English well
• Strong communication skills
• Works well with deadlines and understands priorities
• Is very organized
• Able to work independently

This is a full-time job working US eastern standard time hours. On Monday and Tuesday typical hours are 9am – 8pm. Wednesday is when the newspapers need to be finished and sent to the printer so on Wednesday work continues until the paper is completed which sometimes can be pretty late. Thursdays & Fridays are much lighter days – usually 9am – 5pm.
