Full-Time/Permanent Experienced MS SQL Programmer

We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced person for a Permanent, Full-Time programming position for a California company, working from home as soon as possible. We will hire someone to work for us solely and permanently. No part-time and no companies.

Hours start at 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm with an hour off for lunch.

In addition to the SQL skills, you would learn Point of Sale software. You will learn a lot and there are advancement possibilities.

We have been in business for 5 ½ years and prior to that had another company in the same field for 15 years. We customize and develop software mostly for retailers that use Point of Sale software. The majority of our business is from clients who use us for multiple software development projects and continue to be our customers for a couple of years. Our relationships with the clients are based upon providing superior quality work at a fair price.

We are a stable, reliable, hardworking group and want someone similar who is a self starter, maintains good communication with us, and is willing to help us with client projects. Attitude and willingness are very important.

We are easy to work with as long as you try to figure things out yourself, have initiative, ask questions, have a good work ethic, and can do the work. We don't expect you to have all the skills. You will be trained and expect to learn a lot.

You will work closely with the technical lead. Good English, both written and verbal are important and you will communicate via Skype as needed.

Required Skills (Advanced level):
• Experience as MS SQL programmer
• Excellent English - written and verbal
• Good Personal Organization
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred
• A willingness to do what is needed to get quality work done in a timely manner and a strong work ethic
