We are looking for a talented Video Editor with a strong understanding of basketball, specifically the WNBA, to create high-quality, engaging content for our YouTube channel. You will be responsible for editing highlight-style videos, analysis pieces, and storytelling-driven content similar to channels like

Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality basketball videos with smooth transitions, engaging graphics, and dynamic pacing.
Source and organize relevant game footage, player highlights, and interviews.
Add text overlays, stats, and captions to enhance storytelling.
Maintain brand consistency in style, music, and overall feel.
Optimize videos for YouTube engagement, including thumbnails and pacing.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and improve content quality.
Requirements:

Proven experience editing sports or basketball-related videos (YouTube portfolio preferred).
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
Passion for the WNBA and basketball culture.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Understanding of YouTube’s algorithm and audience retention techniques is a plus.
