Local SEO and Marketing Team Leader

**Company Overview**

We manage multiple local business websites and Google Business Profiles. This role requires a manager to take full ownership of all marketing operations, lead a team, and execute SEO strategies.

**Job Responsibilities**

- Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple websites and Google Business Profiles.
- Manage hiring, training, task delegation, and performance of the SEO team.
- Conduct site audits, implement structured data, manage indexing, and improve Core Web Vitals.
- Oversee backlink acquisition, outreach, and off-page SEO.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles, track rankings, and implement local SEO strategies.
- Plan and oversee content creation for SEO and engagement.
- Track performance using Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Local Falcon.
- Use ClickUp for task management, automate reporting, and streamline workflows.
- Directly responsible for hiring, training, and managing marketing employees.

**Requirements**

- Minimum 5 years in SEO and digital marketing with direct experience managing teams.
- Proven leadership experience with past examples of team management.
- Strong knowledge of local SEO, including GBP optimization, local citations, and ranking strategies.
- Advanced technical SEO skills such as audits, schema, Core Web Vitals, and indexing strategies.
- Experience with WordPress, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Local Falcon or similar platforms.
- Track record in link building, including outreach, content partnerships, and acquisition.
- Ability to manage hiring, training, and performance reviews for marketing staff.
