BMC provides consulting, educational webinars, workshops, curriculum development, and various resources to enhance the impact of Black churches.

Job Summary:

The Education and Curriculum Development Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing educational content that aligns with BMC's mission of empowering Black churches and faith-based organizations. This role will involve transforming research, webinar content, and other resources into engaging and effective learning materials, including agendas, presentations, workbooks, toolkits, and e-courses. The specialist will utilize their expertise in curriculum development and e-learning platforms to create impactful educational experiences.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:
Design and develop comprehensive educational materials, including curricula, workbooks, toolkits, and presentations, tailored to the needs of Black churches and faith-based organizations.
Translate research data and webinar content into accessible and engaging learning resources.
Create content that addresses the specific challenges and opportunities within the Black church ecosystem.
Develop curriculum for online and in person teaching situations.

E-Learning Development:
Develop and manage e-courses on platforms like Kartra, utilizing webinar recordings and other relevant materials.
Design interactive e-learning modules with quizzes, assessments, and other engagement tools.
Ensure e-course content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with BMC's educational objectives.

Content Creation:
Produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations, PDF workbooks, and other educational assets.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Maintain an organized library of educational materials.

Project Management:
Manage multiple curriculum development and e-learning projects simultaneously.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of educational materials.
Evaluation and Improvement:
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational materials and e-courses through feedback and data analysis.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of educational programs.

Qualifications:
Experience in developing curriculum
Proficiency in e-learning platforms, with familiarity with Kartra being a plus.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience with creating power point presentations, and pdf documents is a plus.
