Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and project staff on a day to day basis. The Project Manager is responsible for building a high performing culture by recruiting, coaching, developing and retaining project workers, including Project Assistants and Project Coordinators; evaluating and managing daily workflow and offering feedback to improve efficiency; and providing ongoing training to all hires to improve their effectiveness. The Project Manager will serve as the primary contact with assigned clients, either internal or external, on project matters. The Project Manager is responsible to ensure that operational plans for projects in the Philippines are arranged timely and provisioned adequately so that projects can begin on time and be completed according to specification. This will include making logistical arrangements for facilities and administration of projects, and once a project begins, may also include managing the implementation of projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Project Management-
Ensure project “Delivery in Full, on Time, in Spec.”
Make operational arrangements for new projects to begin on time.
Manage and assign project workflow according to project specifications, in coordination with senior managers, client project liaisons and assigned project assistant(s).
Develop guidelines and training materials based on the needs of the program.
Respond to issues and drive problem resolution in a timely fashion.
Stakeholder Management-
Serve as primary client Account Manager for assigned clients on all project matters; maintaining appropriate contact, managing expectations, resolving client concerns, and regularly reporting on project status.
Negotiate project milestones and delivery dates, renegotiating proactively when necessary.
Represent the company in a way that will build a positive reputation.
Communicate in a timely, clear, and concise manner to stakeholders.
Identify and report on potential risks and risk mitigation activities, including escalation of issues as required.
People Management-
Monitor and review the performance of personnel assigned.
Create and maintain a positive team-oriented, results-oriented work environment.
Analyze online reports and provide regular updates as required.
Qualifications:
Summary of Experience-
Up to three years of management experience in a metric driven setting working in a production, operation, or call center environment.
Previous experience supervising project teams or workgroups.
Experience with Windows OS, MS Office/Google Docs, plus Skype, WebEx, or other interactive forms of online communication.
Proficient in English.
BS or BA degree from an accredited University, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
