Job Opportunity: Maintenance Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

Stayful, a growing short-term rental management business in the UK, is looking for a proactive, analytical maintenance coordinator to support our company. If you're someone who thrives on solving problems independently, stays organised in a fast-paced environment, and has a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect role for you.

As a maintenance co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for co-ordinating proactive and reactive maintenance across our whole portfolio of properties in order to maintain the highest standards for our customers. You'll work remotely and will need to take the initiative to complete tasks independently, problem-solve issues and make your own decisions, ensuring quick and cost-effective resolutions to problems.

Stayful provides hassle-free property management services for short-term rentals across the UK. As we grow, we need a motivated maintenance coordinator who can work with and assist our team and help maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Coordination: Manage and oversee all maintenance requests, both proactive and reactive, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Supplier & Contractor Management: Liaise with local tradespeople, cleaners, and maintenance teams to arrange necessary repairs and servicing.
Issue Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Assess maintenance issues remotely, troubleshoot where possible, and determine the best course of action.
Budget & Cost Control: Obtain quotes, approve maintenance costs, and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Property Inspections & Compliance: Ensure that properties meet health and safety requirements, carrying out virtual inspections and coordinating necessary checks.
Client Feedback: Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance concerns and feeding back or getting sign-off from clients promptly and professionally.
Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and supplier performance.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in property management, maintenance coordination, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess issues quickly and find practical, cost-effective solutions.
Organisation & Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple maintenance requests efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with suppliers, guests, and tea ---------- mbers.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using property management software, spreadsheets, and communication tools (e.g., Slack, ---------- , Google Workspace).
Self-motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
Flexibility: Willing to handle urgent maintenance issues outside standard working hours when needed.
