Solar Drafter/Designer

Key Responsibilities:

-Analyze and interpret site surveys to collect pertinent data for solar PV system design.
-Develop detailed CAD drawings and layouts for commercial, and utility-scale solar projects.
-Reference and apply AHJ requirements and local/national electrical codes to all designs.
-Prepare and submit design documentation for engineering approvals and permitting processes.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar PV system design.
-Highly Proficient in AutoCAD.
-Strong understanding of solar electrical requirements and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
-Experience working with AHJs and knowledge of permitting processes.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
