We are a fast-growing startup focused on high-quality YouTube content creation, expanding across multiple channels. We are looking for a full-time, long-term YouTube Thumbnail Designer to join our team and help create eye-catching, high-converting thumbnails that increase video engagement.
About the Role:
As a YouTube Thumbnail Designer, your role will be to design visually compelling thumbnails that drive clicks and improve video performance. You will use Canva, Photoshop, and AI tools like MidJourney to create thumbnails that align with each video’s theme and brand identity.
Your work will directly impact our success on YouTube by ensuring that every video stands out and attracts viewers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design engaging, high-converting YouTube thumbnails that capture attention.
• Utilize Canva (main tool), Photoshop, and AI tools like MidJourney for thumbnail creation.
• Ensure consistency in style, color, and branding across all thumbnails.
• Optimize thumbnails based on performance data and feedback.
• Stay updated on YouTube trends to create competitive and relevant thumbnails.
• Organize and manage thumbnail assets efficiently for easy access.
• Collaborate with the content team to align thumbnails with video topics.
What We Look For:
• Experience with Canva is required – this will be your main design tool.
• Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools like MidJourney is a plus.
• Understanding of YouTube thumbnail design principles (color, contrast, clickability).
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Detail-oriented with an eye for visual aesthetics.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Highly coachable, motivated, and seeking a long-term full-time position.
