Family Daycare Assistant & Events Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Family Engagement & Events Coordinator to plan, organize, and communicate family-friendly activities, events, and educational sessions. This role also includes managing an Amazon Storefront for teachers and parents, as well as creating a Buying Guide for Staff/Teachers SOP to streamline purchasing recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Planning & Coordination
-Organize and manage family events, including our Winter Wonderland Outing and National Hot Chocolate Day celebrations.
-Coordinate logistics such as scheduling, ticketing, vendor relations, and event setup.
-Partner with local experts to host educational sessions, such as Winter Safety Tips with a meteorologist and fire department -representatives.
-Develop engaging seasonal programs that encourage family participation.

Community Engagement & Communication
-Draft and distribute monthly newsletters highlighting upcoming events, activities, and childcare tips.
-Foster family engagement by gathering feedback and sharing community experiences.
-Maintain communication channels, including emails, social media, and in-center announcements.
-Child-Friendly Activities & Indoor Play Coordination
-Curate and recommend indoor play activities to enhance learning and engagement during colder months.
-Organize creative DIY craft sessions, such as snow globe making, ensuring all materials and instructions are provided.

Family-Friendly Meal Planning & Recommendations
-Share seasonal, family-friendly recipes like Hearty Turkey and Bean Chili, encouraging communal meal experiences.
-Provide step-by-step guidance on easy-to-make, nutritious meals for children and families.

Amazon Storefront & Buying Guide Management
-Create and maintain an Amazon Storefront tailored for teachers and parents, featuring recommended educational toys, classroom supplies, and parenting essentials.
-Research and curate best-in-category products that align with Hypointe’s childcare philosophy.
-Develop a Buying Guide for Staff & Teachers SOP, ensuring staff can efficiently select and purchase necessary childcare and classroom supplies.
-Regularly update product listings and optimize descriptions for ease of purchase.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Previous experience in event planning, childcare, education, e-commerce, or community engagement.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience with Amazon Storefront management, product curation, or e-commerce is a plus.
-Ability to work evenings or weekends when needed for events.
-Creative mindset with a passion for family engagement and educational resources.
