JOB OVERVIEW

Hi,

My name is Jason, and I run a YouTube channel called Nurses To Riches ( ---------- ), where I help nurses increase their income and reach financial success. We currently have over 68,000 subscribers and are growing quickly, with plans to significantly increase our content output and business revenue over the next 6 months.

I've been working with a video editor for the past year, but I’m now looking for a new editor who’s highly skilled, reliable, and passionate about keeping viewers engaged with sharp editing, graphics, animations, and B-roll.

What I’m Looking For:
An editor who understands storytelling and how to keep a viewer’s attention from start to finish.
Experience with editing:
Podcast-style videos (up to 1+ hour)
Vlog-style and talking-head videos (8–12 minutes)
Shorts/reels with dynamic captions
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (no CapCut, iMovie, or Movie Maker).
Strong understanding of pacing, cuts, and how to make educational content visually engaging.
Ability to source and incorporate relevant B-roll, ---------- s, and stock footage to enhance engagement.
Good communication skills and a strong sense of deadlines.

What You’ll Get:
Starting pay: $200 per week for 1 podcast and/or 1 vlog-style/talking-head video.
Potential to grow to $1,500+ USD per month as the channel scales within 6 months.
Opportunity for higher pay as revenue increases — there’s significant upside potential as our content strategy expands.
Consistent work — I upload 1 podcast and/or 1 vlog-style video per week.
Creative freedom to bring your own ideas to the table and help shape the style of the channel.
