About Us

Macari Brands is a multi-brand ecommerce and retail company specializing in consumer products. We own and operate brands such as Baby Delight, Go With Me, Omada Golf, and Phantom Farms, with all ecommerce operations running on the Shopify platform. We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer to help optimize and enhance our Shopify storefronts, implement new features, and ensure a seamless user experience across multiple brands.

Role Overview

We have immediate development needs for multiple Shopify stores and require ongoing support for future projects. This role will focus on custom theme development, performance optimization, app integrations, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
• Customize and develop Shopify themes to enhance UX/UI.
• Implement custom coding (Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for Shopify store improvements.
• Optimize site speed and ensure mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate and configure Shopify apps & APIs as needed.
• Work closely with the marketing and ecommerce teams to implement landing pages, promotions, and product pages.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain website functionality and security.
• Support ongoing updates, maintenance, and enhancements to our Shopify stores.
• Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices to improve sales performance.
• Set up and manage tracking integrations (Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Experience customizing and building Shopify themes from scratch.
• Knowledge of Shopify API and app development/integrations.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus, checkout customizations, and B2B capabilities is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for Shopify stores.
• Experience with page speed optimization and mobile-first design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Bonus: Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads integrations.
