Who is Comet CX?
Comet CX is a young and digitally focused-customer experience consultancy. Launching at the beginning of 2021, we've seen early success, and we are now looking to grow our team to continue supporting our existing clients and meet a high demand for more project work.

What is this role?
We are looking for a full-time QA Specialist to ensure our digital deliverables' quality and functionality, which include websites, web applications, and marketing emails. In this role, you will create and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and document bugs, and verify fixes across multiple platforms and devices. You'll work closely with our development and client services teams to maintain our high-quality standards.

Your expertise in quality assurance will be essential in validating complex digital experiences that integrate with various systems, including e-commerce, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.

You'll work closely with and be supported by Comet's experienced leadership team as you learn the role.

Who are we looking for?
At a minimum, we are seeking a candidate with the following:
2 - 3 years experience in QA testing for websites, web applications, and/or marketing emails
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser/cross-device testing methodologies
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Clear documentation skills and ability to communicate technical issues effectively

While not necessary, the following would be highly desirable in a candidate:
Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platforms
Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing practices

Salary Range:
Mid-level QA Specialist: ?50,000-70,000 per month

Compensation will be determined based on your experience and skill level. Additional benefits include an equipment allowance and internet subsidy for this fully remote position.
