We use a combination of human psychology, humor, sass, and pop-culture to illustrate timeless principles of hiring and apply it to the modern world of online freelancing.

We are looking for a witty freelance-writer with a fun, sassy tone to help us build a step-by-step video-based course.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing content for the course, worksheets, webinar scripts, landing page copy, and Facebook ad copy based on collaborative phone calls with supplemental research and audio notes
• Paraphrasing dictated concepts in a concise + fun voice
• You’ll need to be able to help take notes on audio recordings, keep the voice in tact, but make them more concise by editing them down to the key points.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:

• A professional writer by trade, ideally with 3+ years of experience; has fantastic English & grammar
• 100% reliable; hates flakiness, always shows up early, and would never miss a deadline
• Values helping others, loves self-help and human psychology.


BONUS IF:
• You're understanding of the fact that this is a tiny company and are willing to take on occasional non-writing tasks to help out
• You can coordinate additional research

This position is NOT for you if:

• You're struggle with time management, and projects sometimes take you significantly longer than you thought they would
• You're really enthusiastic about starting new projects, but you're not as great at finishing them
• You are a total extrovert and get lonely if you don't have a lot of interaction with people each day
• "Deadline" feels like a scary word

PAID TEST ASSIGNMENTS:

This is a competitive position. We're truly looking for someone who is a high-achiever and who has "I over-deliver" written all over her/his DNA. To make sure we find the right person, we will first work together with multiple candidates on paid sample assignments at a mutually agreed upon rate until we can find the perfect fit. We'd like to get the first paid assignment done within 2 business days of hiring.
