Video Editor + Graphic Designer

We're seeking a talented and creative Freelance Video Editor to join our team on a trial basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create engaging content for our YouTube channel, Instagram, and other social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone who can blend technical skill with a keen understanding of our brand voice and target audience.
Responsibilities:
• Edit and produce high-quality videos for YouTube, including full-length content and shorter YouTube Shorts
• Create eye-catching YouTube thumbnails that align with our brand aesthetic
• Develop engaging Instagram Reels that capture our brand message in short, impactful clips
• Collaborate with our team to understand project goals and target audience needs
• Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice: encouraging, supportive, and empathetic
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Provide creative input to enhance video content and viewer engagement
Requirements:
• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in the health and wellness sector
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements
• Ability to create visually appealing graphics and thumbnails
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently
• Understanding of current video trends and best practices for YouTube and Instagram
Desired Skills:
• Experience in creating content for health, fitness, or medical-related fields
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for video content
