Are you an experienced News Writer with a keen eye for industry trends and a talent for clear, engaging journalism? We are an international yachting and marine tourism B2B publication seeking a remote-based News Writer to cover industry news, press releases, and exclusive insights for our professional readership.

About the Role:
As a News Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing news articles focused on the yachting and marine tourism B2B industry. Your work will contribute to keeping our audience informed on market trends, corporate developments, and key industry events.

Responsibilities:
- Research and write daily news articles, press release summaries, and industry updates
- Conduct occasional interviews with industry experts and professionals
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-structured, and engaging for our audience
- Work closely with the editorial team to develop content plans and meet deadlines
- Adhere to the publication’s editorial standards and tone
- Work with the Social Media Manager on the expansion of our reach and help to come up with ideas to increase viewership;
- Analyse and optimise the performance of content and bring new ideas to the table
- Write and publish a weekly newsletter

What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in journalism, news writing, or editorial roles
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to analyse industry trends and translate them into compelling articles
- Strong research skills and the ability to fact-check information accurately
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Can-do attitude
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems is a plus
