Video Editor & Podcast Producer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Podcast Audio & Video Editor/Producer to take our raw audio and video recordings and transform them into a professional, high-quality podcast. Your responsibilities will include:
- Podcast guest outreach and coordination
- Light social media support
- Community engagement and support
- Editing audio and video files to remove background noise, filler words, and misspeaks.
- Ensuring consistent audio levels and overall sound quality.
- Adding intro/outro music and sound effects.
- Creating visually appealing video edits for platforms like YouTube.
- Producing short, engaging video and audio clips for social media promotion (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Creating short form content from other raw footage
- Organizing and managing podcast files.
- Tracking and organizing podcast ads
- Maintaining a consistent production schedule.
- Adding show notes, and assisting with uploading the podcast to hosting platforms.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in podcast audio and video editing/production.
- Expert proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Reaper).
- Expert proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of audio and video compression and formatting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience creating short-form video content for social media.
- Good understanding of social media platform requirements for video and audio.
- Excellent English language proficiency and understanding of English grammar and figures of speech.

Software Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in your choice of editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro).

Experience Level:
- Intermediate to Advanced.

Compensation:
- Compensation is $5 to $7 hourly USD depending on experience and we expect 10-20 hours weekly
