We are looking for a writer/blogger to write three articles per week to start off with. Looking at maybe 5 to 15 hours a week in the beginning. Eventually, we may need five articles a week with increase in hours, but we will see how things go first.
Our company runs an investment website – we cover two regions. As such, we need market news summaries for the two regions our website covers. More precisely, we would like an individual to visit several websites, which we will provide, to see what the trending, recent market news is and then summarize the topics.
For example, if an article (or headline) mentions that company A in country Z has an IPO (Initial Public Offering), we would want that information wrote in one-to-four sentences. We would want the source of the information linked to the summary. Then the person would move on to the next headline and do the same thing.
Each article/summary would be due at the same time each week. More clearly, one article would be due Sunday, one article would be Tuesday, one article would be due Thursday. The deadline is important, but your hours will be flexible. We will give more precise instructions for qualified applicants.
If you think you’re someone who can fulfill the role, we’d like to have you on board. Knowledge about financial markets is a plus, but not a requirement. Strong research skills, and an ability to summarize and write about existing information on the Web without plagiarizing is critical.
This is an ongoing opportunity. We hope to work with the qualified individual for years, not weeks. Needless to say, you can work purely from home.
We have quite a stringent screening process to make sure we get the best of the best. If you're interested in this wonderful opportunity, reply to this ad below and we will contact you to process your application. Everyone will be given a chance here so please make sure you make it count.
If you are interested in this job, please answer the following question. What does the acronym GDP stand for? Hint: three words.
Also, please don’t send me a list of your past experience, but rather describe it to me in a paragraph. I am looking to see how well you write English.
