Project-based Web Developer

Position: Project-based Web Developer
Compensation: $5 - $7 per hour
Hours: Starting at 15 hours week
Schedule: Flexible, but must attend meetings 2x per week between the hours of 1pm - 6pm M-F Pacific Standard.

We are looking for an experienced remote WordPress Front End developer to join our team for project-based work! We have 2 initial projects to work on currently (with possible upcoming other projects).

The ideal candidate will possess an eye for design, excellent communication skills, and a portfolio of WordPress/web projects that demonstrate their skill and technical awareness. You must be comfortable working online in a remote team environment using project management apps such as ClickUp. The successful candidate should have experience and expertise working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as WordPress development and API functionality/integrations. PHP and SQL knowledge is a plus.

Candidates must have experience adapting web designs from PSD/Figma to WordPress/websites.

Your responsibilities will be:
- Developing reactive UI animations (example: image flipping)
- Front end development for WordPress sites designed in Figma
- Completing quality control for website responsiveness and functionality
- Integrating functionality from 3rd-party applications (both native and API)
- Ensuring the site is stable and secure via WAF
