JOB OVERVIEW

We are a coding boot camp provider seeking a Career Success Coordinator (Virtual Assistant) to help us grow our employer partnerships, provide career counseling to our students, and promote the success of our graduates. In this role, you will be a key member of our Career Success Team and will be responsible for helping students land jobs and internships through our industry partnerships while also ensuring that our students have the support and resources they need to succeed in their careers.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about supporting students in their career journey. This is a results-driven role, where you will be expected to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) that contribute to our students’ career success and the overall growth of the academy.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Employer Partnerships (70% of the Role)
Employer Outreach:
Build relationships with potential employer partners who can hire our graduates.
Nurture existing employer partnerships to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.
Help establish new employer partnerships and track communications and agreements.
Hiring Support:
Assist in hiring new talent for Dented Code Academy or its affiliated companies.
2. Student Career Counseling (20% of the Role)
Career Guidance:

Provide one-on-one career counseling and group sessions to assist students with job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and career planning.
Stay updated with the tech job market trends to give informed advice to students.
Career Resources:

Develop and maintain career resources such as job search guides, resume templates, and interview tips to ensure students are well-prepared for the job market.
Share relevant job postings with students and ensure they are aware of opportunities.
3. Marketing and Business Promotion (10% of the Role)
Workshops and Events:

Help organize career workshops on topics such as resume writing and interview techniques.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote workshops and the success of our students and employer partnerships.
Social Media and Marketing Contributions:

Contribute to the creation of promotional materials highlighting success stories of our students and employer partners.
Post career-related content on LinkedIn and other platforms to attract new employer partners.
What We Are Looking For:
Motivated & Results-Driven:

We need someone who is goal-oriented and enjoys working in a performance-driven environment.
Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Comfortable engaging with students and employers over email, video calls, and social media platforms.
Organized & Detail-Oriented:

The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain organized records of employer interactions and student progress.
Passion for Helping Others:

A genuine desire to help students succeed in their career journey.
Familiarity with Online Platforms:

Comfortable using tools like LinkedIn, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive. Familiarity with social media platforms and job boards is a plus.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in recruitment, business development, or career counseling is preferred but not required.
Experience in customer service, recruitment, or job placement is an advantage.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students and employer partners.

- We also provide a result-based commission on top of the base salary. No cap on how much you can earn through the commission.
