Video Editor for TikTok, Facebook and Instagram

We require a video editor to take our YouTube videos and create engaging short form videos to be published on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube shorts and IG reels.

Travel vlog youtube channel, that requires clips/sound bites to be created.

We will provide 5-7 minutes worth of footage and this will need to be edited for facebook (square 1:1 aspect ratio) and this video is required to be over 3 minutes. We also then require the video to be edited into Tiktoks (this can be just over 60 seconds long)

The videos require subtitling (captions)

The video for example, person in the video is eating street food, this will be the story line of the clip, and it needs a good strong hook to grab the attention of the viewer and the video must maintain a fast pace to ensure that the viewers remain engaged and keep watching.

We require experience in editing this style of vlogs into shorter clips.

We will have around 35-45 videos per month to be created.

If we reach our full capacity each month we will offer a bonus of $50 and if work is maintained to a high standard after 3 months, we will increase this to $100

The channel is English speaking (British English)

The payment amount is fixed and not pay per hour, so you can take as little...or as long as you like, just make sure that we have high quality work!

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a video editor
Strong writing and editing skills
Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in short from content
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
Experience working with a variety of video formats and codecs
Experience with colour correction and audio mixing
