JOB OVERVIEW

Our company is seeking a Virtual Assistant to support our content management efforts by uploading and organising content on our CMS. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented and have experience uploading content to WordPress.

The Virtual Assistant will work closely with our marketing team to upload content to our website, which is built on WordPress. You need to ensure it is uploaded with accuracy, consistency, and with attention to detail.

The marketing team is based in the UK, and whilst most communication can be done asynchronous but we will need to occasional Video Call.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Uploading: Upload articles, landing pages, and resources into WordPress.
Formatting: Follow brand guidelines to format text, images, and other media for web.
CMS Management: Build pages using pre-built CMS modules and components.
SEO Optimisation: Implement basic on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, alt text). You'll be provided step-by-step guidance on requirements.
Quality Control: Conduct self-checks to ensure correct formatting and error-free uploads.
Task Coordination: Collaborate with the content and design team to ensure smooth workflows.
User Experience: Ensure content is properly tagged and categorised for easy search and discovery
Team Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
Proven experience in content management or similar role
Strong understanding of WordPress
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in content management, digital marketing, or related role
