Comic Strip Illustrator / Cartoonist

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Comic Strip Illustrator/Cartoonist to bring our scripts and characters to life through engaging, expressive, and visually appealing comic strips. You will be responsible for translating written scripts into dynamic and compelling comic panels that align with the intended style, tone, and storytelling objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Create visually compelling and expressive comic strip illustrations based on provided scripts, character descriptions, and creative direction.
Design characters, settings, and scenes that align with the established tone and style.
Develop panel layouts and compositions that enhance storytelling and readability.
Deliver high-quality, polished artwork in a consistent style and format.
Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine illustrations as needed.
Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining artistic integrity and quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a comic strip artist, illustrator, or cartoonist (portfolio required).
Strong ability to create expressive characters and engaging panel compositions.
Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint) or traditional comic drawing techniques.
Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and humor in comic strips.
Ability to adapt to different artistic styles if required.
Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in creating short-form comic strips or webcomics.
Knowledge of typography and lettering for comics.
