We are looking for a Client Success Specialist & Operations Virtual Assistant to support a web-based software company that monitors legislative activity in the California legislature. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, technical support, and operations to ensure smooth onboarding, engagement, and system efficiency.
(Graveyard Shift to align with U.S. CST) Either 9 AM - 1 PM or 1 PM - 5 PM Central Time. This position has the potential to eventually evolve into a full-time role.
Job duties and responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Role:
- Create and manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.
- Add and configure users for customer accounts, including access levels and permissions.
- Assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting account-related issues, and providing solutions.
2. Operations Role:
- Monitor and verify RTG is RTG (Ready-to-Go) file processing, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Validate and update committee, legislative data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational requirements.
- Perform routine checks on system processes and escalate discrepancies for resolution.
- Support internal teams with operational reporting, data reconciliation, and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in technical support and customer service, preferably in a software or SaaS environment.
- Sales and outbound calling experience for client engagement and onboarding.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills to ensure accurate customer account management.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Google Workspace (G Suite), and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Interest or experience in U.S. politics or legislative processes is a plus.
