Solutions Architect - Asset & Wealth Management Fintech

Position Overview
The Solutions Architect will design, document, and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive technical architecture that integrates multiple applications via APIs and iframes for our asset and wealth management fintech platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring system integrity and compliance with financial industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and document the overall system architecture, focusing on integration points between internal systems and external partners
- Create detailed architectural diagrams and implementation documentation for development teams
- Evaluate and select appropriate integration methods (APIs, iframes, webhooks) based on technical requirements and performance considerations
- Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Guide development teams on best practices for implementing integrations while maintaining security and compliance
- Perform technical risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies
- Stay current with fintech industry trends and integration technologies

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect in fintech or financial services
- Proven experience designing and implementing systems with multiple API integrations
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern web integration techniques
- Experience with financial data security and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, PCI)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wealth management or asset management platforms
- Knowledge of financial data standards and protocols (FIX, SWIFT, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Certification in relevant architecture frameworks (TOGAF, AWS, Azure)
