WordPress Developer Needed

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team for an exciting project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, and a solid understanding of PHP, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
- Ensure high-performance and availability of WordPress websites
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to implement new features
- Ensure website security and implement necessary updates and patches
- Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices

Critical Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in WordPress development
- Experience developing a highly SEO optimized article-based wordpress site
- Code level editing skills, at the hard-coding level for Wordpress
- Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Excellent experience with SEO optimization
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization
- Familiarity with MySQL and database management
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, and other WordPress plugins
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js)
- Experience with website security best practices
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
