About the Role
We are seeking a Book Review Specialist to manage and streamline our book and audiobook review process. This role involves overseeing book review swaps through platforms like Book Bounty or Book Blaze, personalizing AI-assisted reviews, and ensuring all review activities are well-documented. The specialist will follow a structured 1-book + 1-audiobook per day process, making this an efficient and manageable part-time role (10 hours per week). Key Responsibilities
Book Review Process (1 Book Per Day)
1. Pick a book to review from Book Bounty.
2. Read 1-2 chapters + browse the entire book (Kindle app or Web browser).
3. Generate a draft review using AI and personalize based on what was read.
4. Wait 24 hours before posting the review on Amazon (to comply with review guidelines).
5. Update Book Bounty platform to confirm that your review is submitted.
6. Request a book review for our books (assuming enough points have been accumulated). Ensure the review appears as scheduled.
Audiobook Review Process (1 Audiobook Per Day)
7. Play the selected audiobook overnight, but actively listen to 1-2 chapters.
8. Generate an AI-assisted review and personalize it based on the chapter listened to.
9. After 24 hours, submit the audiobook review on Audible.
10. Update the book review spreadsheet to track books reviewed, reviews posted, and pending swaps.
Additional Responsibilities
• Manage Book Bounty review swaps (tracking, requesting reviews, maintaining points).
• Share Audible codes for audiobook review swaps and follow up with reviewers (shared responsibility with the employer).
• Ensure consistency and professionalism in all posted reviews.
• Communicate with the team regarding book selections, progress, and issues.

Qualifications & Requirements
These are the must-have qualifications needed to perform this role successfully:
• Must have a reliable computer and internet connection.
• Ability to follow a structured daily review process (1 book + 1 audiobook per day).
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT or Claude.ai) for review writing while ensuring personalization.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail (for tracking reviews & swaps).
• Familiarity with Book Bounty or Book Blaze, or willingness to learn and navigate these platforms (training can be provided).
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while working independently.
Nice to Have
These are bonus skills that are not required but would be beneficial:
• Experience managing book review swaps or working with audiobook review platforms.
• Basic understanding of Kindle & Audible review processes.
• Experience in digital content management or literary review processes.
