Paid Advertising Specialist (Contractor – in the Philippines)
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Job Type: Contractor
Compensation: 36,505/Philippine Pesos a month (equivalent to $4/hour at 40 hours/week), with performance-based raises and monthly incentives.

About Us
We are a growing digital marketing agency that helps small businesses maximize their online visibility and lead generation through highly targeted paid advertising. We are looking for an experienced, independent Paid Advertising Specialist to fully manage ad campaigns from strategy to execution across multiple platforms.
This role is for someone who does not need micromanagement but thrives on research, strategy, and optimization. You will be responsible for delivering consistent results within ad budgets ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per month per client.
Each specialist will typically handle 4–6 clients at a time, depending on campaign complexity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Full Ad Campaign Setup & Strategy
Plan, build, and manage highly targeted ad campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.


Conduct detailed keyword research and audience analysis based on the client’s local market, budget, and goals.


Set up ad creatives, tracking pixels, and custom conversion events to ensure accurate performance tracking.


Write compelling ad copy and headlines that improve CTR and conversions.


2. Daily Optimization & Performance Monitoring
Monitor ad performance daily and make adjustments to bids, targeting, and placements.


Continuously optimize ads by removing underperforming keywords and reallocating budget to high-performing ads.


Improve CPA by testing new audiences, creatives, and bidding strategies.


Conduct A/B testing for ad copy, creatives, and targeting options.


3. Research & Market Analysis
Stay ahead of trends in PPC advertising, Google Ads algorithms, and social media ad updates.


Research local demographics and competitor ad strategies to improve targeting.


Identify new keyword opportunities to scale successful campaigns.


4. Reporting & Performance Reviews
Provide weekly performance reports outlining:


Ad spend vs. results (leads, sales, CTR, CPA, ROAS)


Optimizations made


Next steps and insights for improving performance


Monitor and manage ad spend to avoid wasted budget.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
3+ years of experience managing Google Ads & Facebook Ads campaigns


Experience with $1,000–$2,000 ad budgets per client


Strong knowledge of keyword research, audience segmentation, and bid management


Ability to set up conversion tracking, retargeting, and Lookalike Audiences


Proficiency in Google Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Analytics


Familiarity with SEMrush, SE Ranking, SpyFu, or other PPC research tools


Soft Skills
Self-motivated and results-driven – can work independently without micromanagement


Strong analytical skills – can interpret data and improve performance based on insights


Excellent communication – can explain insights and strategies clearly


Attention to detail – can track small changes that impact ad performance



Compensation & Performance-Based Raises
?36,505/month (equivalent to $4/hour based on a 40-hour workweek)


This is a full-time role — you are expected to be available for a 40-hour workweek and complete deliverables reliably


Monthly performance incentives may allow specialists to earn up to ?54,758/month (approx. $6/hour)


Raises must be sustained for 3 consecutive months to become permanent


Underperformance may result in a temporary rate decrease or termination if unresolved


Raises & Adjustments
Evaluated monthly and during quarterly reviews


Pay increases tied to consistent, measurable performance


Failure to meet deliverables may result in a warning or termination


Contract & Compliance
Before starting work, you must be willing to sign necessary contracts, including:
Independent Contractor Agreement


Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)


Compliance Agreement for Paid Ad Best Practices


Failure to follow ad policies or ethical standards will result in contract termination.

Trial Period
New hires may be required to complete a 2–4 week paid trial to assess skill level, communication, and campaign execution before moving to a long-term contract.
