I’m Austin Falter. I'm a filmmaker & agency owner. I live near Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m 27, married with 2 boys. I love karaoke, dungeons and dragons, camping, travel and movies. I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! And I like to think I’m a pretty chill boss. (but you can ask my team). haha.

JOB INFO
Looking for a Video Editor who can start ASAP. Right now it would be almost exclusively Podcast & Shortform Content. But down the road may be move to a more general video editor role. This would start with a test period, and then if that goes well in March or April we would move to full time and all the time off and 13th month perks!

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. MUST be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, (and ideally some adobe after effects - like using templates)
2. Must speak great english. Mostly writing and listening because you will have to double check transcriptions on captions and listen to my voice memos that I send all the time. haha.
3. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with the ability to follow complex instructions and implement feedback effectively

Key Responsibilities:
1. Podcast Cleanup – Cut out ums, ahs, awkward pauses, false starts, and background distractions.
2. Technical Editing – Sync multi-cam footage, balance audio, adjust colors, and refine transitions.
3. Marking Key ---------- nts – Identify engaging clips for intros, social media, and highlight reels.
4. Sound Editing – Enhance clarity, mute unwanted noises, and ensure consistent audio levels.
5. File Management & Deadlines – Export correctly, follow naming conventions, and stay at least two weeks ahead.
