DKS Design is seeking an experienced Web Developer to enhance and maintain its QR Tour platform. The primary focus of this role will be implementing a dynamic artifact ordering system, along with backend cleanup, optimization, and ongoing feature development.
Responsibilities:
Develop a drag-and-drop admin interface for artifact reordering.
Modify and optimize the database structure for dynamic ordering and scalability.
Implement backend improvements, including code refactoring and performance tuning.
Update and enhance the frontend display to dynamically reflect artifact order changes.
Conduct code cleanup and security audits to improve system stability.
Address existing bugs and inefficiencies in the current application.
Develop and deploy new features to improve the QR Tour user experience.
Ensure the solution is user-friendly, responsive, and maintainable for museum staff.
Provide documentation and training on new features.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue, or jQuery UI Sortable).
Experience with backend development (PHP, Node.js, or Python).
Strong knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebase).
Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Laravel, or custom solutions).
Ability to refactor and optimize existing code for performance and security.
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices for admin interfaces.
Ability to deliver a clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebase.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working on museum or exhibit-based web applications.
Familiarity with QR code-based content management.
Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud hosting solutions.
