YouTube Video Editor Wanted – Long-Term Work (Talking Head Videos)

I’m looking for a skilled and reliable video editor who can edit 2-3 talking head videos per week for my YouTube channel. The content focuses on music industry strategies for independent artists, and I need engaging, polished videos that keep viewers watching.

The ideal candidate will have experience in YouTube-style editing with a fast-paced, modern feel, adding B-roll, motion graphics, captions, and sound effects to enhance the content.

If you have experience editing for YouTube creators, podcasters, or educators, this could be a great long-term position for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

? Cutting & joining clips to create a smooth, engaging flow
? Adding animated titles, captions, and text overlays (with sound effects)
? Removing background noise & adding background music
? Inserting relevant B-roll footage for better storytelling
? Applying motion graphics & color grading for a professional look
? Creating thumbnails & short videos (optional, but a plus!)
? Delivering in 4K resolution

Tools You Should Know:
• Adobe Premiere Pro (for video editing, transitions, sound effects)
• After Effects (for motion graphics, animation, overlays)
• Photoshop/Canva (for thumbnails—optional, but preferred)

What I’m Looking For in an Editor:

? Experience editing YouTube videos, especially talking head content
? Ability to match reference styles & create engaging edits
? Strong understanding of YouTube pacing and audience retention
? Can deliver 2-3 videos per week consistently
? Good communication & ability to take feedback

Preferred Experience:
• Has edited at least 50+ YouTube videos
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Understands YouTube trends in video editing
• Bonus: Experience in music-related content
