Web Designer

Company Overview:

We are a digital marketing company specializing in creating websites for a specific industry. Our approach uses a general template that is customized for each client through tailored colors, styles, and branding. We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team and help implement these customizations while focusing on conversion optimization.


Job Description:
As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for implementing our general website template in WordPress, adjusting designs to match various client brand guidelines. In addition, you will work closely with our digital marketing team to ensure that the website designs are optimized for conversions. Your role will involve creating visually appealing, responsive designs that have high user engagement and conversion rates.


Key Responsibilities:
Customize and implement our general website template in WordPress for multiple clients.
Adapt the design’s colors, styles, and layouts to reflect individual client branding.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize websites for conversion performance.
Create design mockups and prototypes using standard web design tools.
Ensure all websites are responsive and adhere to modern web standards


Potential Responsibilities:
Analyze user behavior using conversion optimization tools and perform A/B testing to improve site performance.



Required Skills & Experience:
Standard Web Design Tools:
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD for design creation and prototyping.
Figma and/or Sketch: For UI/UX design and collaborative prototyping.
InVision (or similar): For interactive prototyping and gathering user feedback.
HTML, CSS, and Basic [removed] For front-end customization of the WordPress templates.
WordPress Experience: Proven track record working with WordPress including template customization.


Additional Skills:
Strong attention to detail with an eye for clean, modern design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Optional Skills
Conversion Optimization Expertise:
Experience using Google Analytics for tracking user behavior and site performance.
Familiarity with A/B testing platforms such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO.
Use of heat mapping tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg to understand visitor engagement and drive improvements in ad conversion.

Web Development:
Slicing Design files into html
Expert level Wordpress Web development (beyond just basic wordpress usage that is required)
JavaScript web development


Working Hours:
Approximately 7am – 3pm ET.



Salary Range (depending on experience):
$1300 - $1600/month
