As a web designer with us, you'll work on a range of web design projects. With the guidance of our senior team, we're looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical in approach and meticulous in nature. Strong communications and time management skills is a must. You'll nee dot be super organised and have a strong understanding of the website design and development process from start to finish.

The role involves:

- Client workshops, where you will be required to interpret client briefs and translate them into wireframes that clearly capture and articulate all the project requirements
- Internal design collaboration, where you will be working closely with our team to produce beautiful, consistent designs that effectively balance visual aesthetics with strategic usability and practical functionality
- UI design, where you will create trend-forward designs based on client requirements and the set art direction, maintaining consistently high-quality designs from desktop through to mobile screen sizes
- Handover and QA processes, where you will collaborate closely with developers to clearly communicate project design specifications and audit builds to ensure designs have been accurately translated into high quality, fully functional web products
- Image editing and asset preparation, where you will create and edit imagery that caters towards a client’s branding and design style, and provide these as web-optimised assets to developers


As a successful candidate, you will have:

- 3+ years as a Website User Interface Designer working across a range of web design projects and a killer portfolio to prove it
- A strong ability to balance beautiful, trend-forward aesthetics with practical user-friendly experiences and build functionality
- Expert skills in Figma (our main design tool)
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop
- Good understanding of best practice for web and responsive design, as well as experience in working with responsive grid systems
- Pixel perfect execution, with a compulsively high attention to detail and consistently high quality delivery of work
- A low key obsession in keeping design layers and folders organised
- A self-motivated work ethic, with a strong desire for continual skill development and improvement

Extra requirements:

Work within Australian East Time Zone (AEDT/AEST)
