Role Overview

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for translating Figma designs into custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS. You will work closely with our design, CRO, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints. Your ability to develop pixel-perfect, high-performing, and optimized Shopify websites will play a key role in driving our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities

Convert Figma designs into fully responsive, high-performance Shopify Liquid themes
Develop, optimize, and maintain Shopify themes, ensuring excellent UX/UI and mobile responsiveness
Customize Shopify functionalities using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Implement dynamic content and interactive elements within Shopify
Optimize Shopify store performance for fast loading times and SEO best practices
Integrate third-party Shopify apps and custom APIs to enhance store functionality
Work alongside designers, marketers, and CRO specialists to align technical execution with business objectives
Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain existing Shopify stores to enhance performance and stability
Stay up to date with Shopify updates, Liquid improvements, and eCommerce development trends

Requirements

Proven experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify Liquid customizations
Expert-level proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Strong understanding of Shopify’s theme architecture, API integrations, and Shopify Plus functionalities
Experience with Figma to Shopify conversions, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation
Familiarity with CRO best practices, mobile-first development, and UI/UX principles
Ability to optimize store speed, performance, and SEO
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and eCommerce strategists
Experience with Git version control and deployment workflows

Bonus Skills

Experience with React, Vue.js, or custom app development for Shopify
Knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen and headless commerce solutions
Experience integrating Shopify with third-party tools (e.g., Klaviyo, ReCharge, OneClickUpsell, ReConvert, etc.)
