[ Key Responsibilities ]

- Magento Development: Build, maintain, and enhance Magento (primarily Magento 2) eCommerce websites, including front-end design, back-end functionality, and custom module development.

- Customization & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, implement new features and integrations, perform updates, and ensure ongoing site stability and security.

- Performance Optimization: Diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and ensure fast page-loading times.

- Integration: Integrate third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, ERP/CRM tools) to extend Magento’s functionality and streamline operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and project management teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, business goals, and customer expectations.

- Code Quality & Version Control: Write clean, modular, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Utilize version control systems (Git) for all code changes.

- Testing & Documentation: Conduct thorough testing (unit testing, functional testing) to ensure reliable, bug-free releases. Maintain clear documentation of implementations, configurations, and processes.

- Ongoing Support: Monitor site performance, quickly troubleshoot issues, and provide prompt resolutions to maintain site uptime and user satisfaction.


[ Qualifications ]

- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Magento 2 development experience (including front-end, back-end, and custom modules).


[ Technical Skills: ]

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line, server configurations, and hosting environments.

- Experience working with Git or other version control systems.

- Understanding of Magento’s architecture, themes, and best practices.

- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for integrations and custom solutions.

[ Soft Skills: ]

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote teams.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a part-time capacity.

- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred—but relevant experience and proven expertise are key.
