ESL Teacher

What you'll be doing:

*Teach reading classes using the RAZ books focusing on improving student's reading skills, comprehension, fluency and vocabulary.

*Implementing effective teaching strategies to foster language acquisition and improve student's reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

*Assessing students' progress and providing personalized feedback to support their progress and development.

*Collaborating with the teaching team to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ESL program.

What we're looking for:

*An experienced teacher with good accent

*Teaching certificate (if not available, the teacher must be willing to obtain a teaching certificate during the first few months of teaching)

*We also accept applicants with no teaching experience as long as you graduated from a good university.

*Can teach at least 3 hours per day, 6 days a week preferably during peak hours 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements:

*Work-at-home

*Clean and organized teaching environment

*Stable and reliable internet connection

*High-definition camera with clear and noise-free microphone

*Familiarity with Classin (if not we can schedule a training for you)

*Earn up to 33k - 51K Php a month if you open more slots during peak hours and teach more than 220 classes a month.

About Us:

Sponge English provides 1-on-1 graded reading class with the Chinese students. Our students range from 5-14 years old. We help students master more than 20 reading strategies and reading comprehension skills that cultivate critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills, and reading skills. We build student's competitiveness and core understanding of the English language.
