Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in the Towing and Roadside Assistance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, managing dispatch operations, and ensuring timely and efficient assistance to customers in need of towing and roadside services.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries related to towing and roadside assistance. Provide information about services, pricing, and estimated arrival times while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Dispatch Coordination: Efficiently dispatch tow trucks and roadside assistance vehicles, ensuring optimal routing and timely service delivery. Collaborate with towing operators to assign jobs based on location and availability.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, providing clear communication and updates throughout the process.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service requests, customer interactions, and dispatched jobs in the company’s database. Ensure all information is recorded correctly for billing and operational purposes.

Customer Education: Guide customers on the necessary steps to take in emergency situations, including safety tips and what to expect while waiting for assistance.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and billing, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls with customers after services have been rendered to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for service improvement.

Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products that may enhance the customer’s experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service, communications, or a related field is an asset.
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the towing or roadside assistance industry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active listening.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for managing stressful situations with composure.
Proficient in using customer service software and dispatch systems; familiarity with GPS and routing tools is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as towing services are often needed outside of regular business hours.
