As part of our mission, we’re expanding our reach with engaging short-form video content tailored to social media platforms, starting with Instagram Reels.

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor and Content Strategist to transform recorded content into eye-catching, high-impact 90-second Instagram Reels. The ideal candidate is skilled at storytelling through video, has a knack for financial or educational content, and understands the nuances of modern social media trends and engagement strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Edit raw video recordings into polished 90-second Instagram Reels that quickly capture attention and communicate key messages effectively
* Add engaging motion graphics, captions, animations, and transitions to elevate content quality and accessibility
* Incorporate branding elements, including logos, colors, and fonts, to maintain consistency with FILEDAR’s identity
* Stay current on Instagram trends, viral formats, and best practices to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement
* Collaborate to align video content with FILEDAR’s tone, messaging, and overall goals
* Ensure quick turnaround times to meet social media posting schedules
* Provide creative input on how to enhance, expand and/or rethink existing content strategy into into a compelling and sustainable short-form content strategy

QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels or similar short-form content
* Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or Descript)
* Familiarity with Instagram’s algorithm, trends, and audience engagement strategies
* Ability to transform complex or technical topics into visually appealing, easy-to-understand content.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* BONUS: Interest or experience in finance, investing, business and/or economics
