I’m Cliff and I run the Unheard History Youtube channel

I started it in early 2023 looking to give people more understanding of how the world became how it did and now I’m looking to turn it into a business to build on that goal

**Responsibilities**

Your main responsibilities will involve the following for 2-4 videos per month

- Editing raw footage and recorded audio into a cohesive story
- Finding B roll that works for the story
- Presenting it in an interesting and clear way
- D ---------- when B roll or A roll should be used
- Layering sound design with music and sound effects

**Bonus skills/things**

Some other things that if you do, would be a huge help, but they’re not essential in any way

- If you have some knowledge of videography and how I can improve on how I record videos, that would be a big bonus
- If you use Final Cut Pro
- That way I can make some small amendments my self
- Graphic design and thumbnail design skills

**Trial task**

To make sure that we’d be a good fit for each other, I ask that any potential editors take 30 seconds worth of raw footage (the footage will be longer but it should equate to around 30 seconds when edited) and create something with it that you think matches what would work for the channel

**Cover letter**

One final thing, if you could add a very simple cover letter to your application that explains why you’re interested and that also mentions the word AZTECS that would be great. Just to prove you’ve read this far ;)
