We are a real estate investment company specializing in identifying and acquiring land with development potential. Our focus is on parcels adjacent to or near subdivisions, with an eye for growth and value-add opportunities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and tech-savvy individual to help us uncover and analyze promising land opportunities by scrapping and evaluating data from county websites and GIS systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Research and scrape land ownership, parcel, zoning, and development-related data from county websites and GIS mapping systems.
Identify parcels adjacent to subdivisions that meet specific development criteria, such as zoning potential, proximity to utilities, and acreage.
Analyze zoning regulations, land use designations, and future growth plans for selected areas.
Maintain and organize a database of researched properties, including detailed notes on location, size, ownership, zoning, and development restrictions.
Cross-reference data with online resources, such as public records, satellite imagery, and county development plans.
Stay updated on local development trends, subdivision growth, and county planning efforts in targeted regions.
Generate comprehensive reports and recommendations for parcels with high development potential.
Communicate findings to the acquisitions team and provide actionable insights to guide investment decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in land research, data scraping, or a related field (real estate, GIS, urban planning, or land development preferred).
Proficient in navigating and extracting data from county websites, GIS platforms, and public records.
Strong understanding of zoning, land use, and development processes.
Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools for organizing and analyzing data.
Ability to interpret maps, surveys, and legal property descriptions.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
Knowledge of land valuation, real estate development, or entitlement processes.
Familiarity with counties and municipalities in high-growth regions.
Basic programming or data automation skills (e.g., Python, SQL) for web scraping and data analysis.
