Product Development Specialist for Amazon USA Private Label Brand - Part Time or Full Time - Long Term, and Well Paying

We are a USA based business selling our own custom branded private label products on Amazon USA. We are looking for an individual to lead our product development efforts to help us launch more products. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the entire product development process from initial research and product ideas to product design and specification to final production in China. Candidate will communicate with multiple parties include our internal team and CEO, Chinese factories and sourcing agents, graphic designers and artists, and other 3rd party freelancers to achieve the desired product vision and offering.We want someone who is passionate about creating new products and will go the extra mile to make the product as good as it can be. Candidate will be exposed to many different types of products, as we have multiple brands in a variety of niches including toys, office products, and art supplies. We are building the beginning of our creative team and you will play a pivotal role in the business and in our success. We are looking for someone who will hit the ground running, put in the effort to learn our systems and business model, and push projects forward to make things happen.

We prefer that the role is full time, but can accept part time for the right candidate. We offer competitive pay, incentives, 13th month,and long term stability. We are a small but quickly growing company and you will become a crucial part of our team.

Experience Required:
Prefer product development, industrial design, or similar type of experience working on consumer products that are mass produced
Experience working with Chinese factories is a plus
Experience with product development for products for sale on Amazon USA is a plus

Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead entire research and product development process from initial research to product design and specifications to production
Brainstorm product ideas, vision, new features and/or aesthetics to improve the product and differentiate it from the competition
Conduct in depth product, competitor, and market research to determine customer needs and gaps
Work with our internal team as well as Chinese factories and sourcing agent
Work with 3d render artist to visualize concepts
Run polls to get customer feedback
Lead and complete product development checklist which includes all backend details needed to start production (initial order quantity, product weight, product safety and testing if needed, etc)
