Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business specializing in premiu ---------- tal pill cases. Founded in December 2021, the company is run by two brothers from Washington, DC. Over three years, we have grown to sell thousands of pill cases every month, supported by a thriving remote team.
Our mission is simple: to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We uphold this commitment through meticulous product design and a relentless focus on quality.

About You
You should be self-motivated and looking to work hard - as you will be expected to work hard, contribute and execute without supervision to help the whole team.
You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
You take pride in your work and are proactive, anticipating the needs of the company and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

About the Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Manager /Product Development Manager to lead the creation of innovative, high-quality products that align with our brand’s premium standards. You will oversee the full product lifecycle, including sourcing, design, and production coordination. This position offers the unique opportunity to expand Ikigai’s product line while working closely with the founders.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development: Collaborate with the founders to refine product ideas, create detailed tech packs, and oversee prototyping to ensure quality.
Sourcing: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers globally, ensuring cost-effective and timely production.
Project Management: Manage timelines for product development, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure smooth launches.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and resolve production issues to maintain premium standards.
Market Research: Research trends and gather feedback to propose innovative product ideas.

Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in product development or related roles.
Proven experience managing product lifecycles from concept to launch.
Skills:
Proficiency in creating and interpreting tech packs.
Strong vendor relationship & vendor sourcing skills
Advanced Excel skills for cost analysis and production planning.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills.
Personal Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $1,800/month, with performance-based bonuses.
Hours: Full-time, 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM EST).
Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year.
PTO: 1 week earned for every 6 months worked.
Travel Stipend: All travel expenses for factory visits and trade shows will be fully covered.
